Laborer

Responsibilities

• May be required to work at elevated heights
• Performing tasks involving physical labor on construction projects
• Operate hand and power tools such as air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and various other equipment and instruments
• Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support excavation sides, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble and debris
• Assist other craft workers
• Work in all weather conditions; prolonged bending, squatting, or standing and lifting may be required
• Adhere to safety protocol and work in a drug-free environment

Qualifications

• Education: 1 year of commercial construction experience preferred
• Skills: Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs, stoop, bend, and stand for extended periods, and work at elevated heights
• Knowledge: Must adhere to safety protocol and work in a drug-free environment
