About the role

Location: Fairbanks, AK

The essential duties and responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Expediting building materials
• Daily and task-based jobsite cleanup
• Assistance with wall framing and wall systems construction
• Ability to work safely on Federal construction projects

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years’ experience in commercial or government construction sites
• First Aid/CPR (or ability to complete the course within 14 days of hire)
• OSHA 30 Certification (can be obtained after employment)
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving history

Skills

• Operation of forklift and manlifts
• Light demolition

Preferred Qualifications

• HAZWOPER Experience
• Experience with Infection Control measure installation
• Drywall patching and painting experience

• Maintain physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time
• Lifting and moving of building material; must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Physically capable of operating light construction equipment
• Exposure to elements of temperature extremes

• Duties are performed in both office and field (construction site) settings
• Occasional travel may be required

• Pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Acceptable background check results
• If applicable to the contract, obtain and maintain appropriate clearance levels and access to military installations
