Laboratory Technologist - Automated Lab (Chemistry) - Nights - Competitive Sign-On Bonus and New Rates

About the role

Join a highly-skilled technical team of 48 Laboratory Technologists in our Chemistry area featuring Cobas 8000 series analyzers. Here you'll have an opportunity to work with nationally accredited colleagues and contribute to lifesaving results in an Ivy League affiliated Academic Medical Center environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of automated and manual tests and related duties to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease, following established procedures.
• Work in state-of-the-art 24-hour facilities with complex & diverse caseloads.
• Contribute to lifesaving results in an Ivy League affiliated Academic Medical Center environment.
• Work Monday to Friday from 12:00am - 8:00am with alternate weekends and rotating holidays.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology (or equivalent curriculum).
• New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York State Education department.

Qualifications

Two years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.

Skills

ASCP certification preferred.
