Shift: Evening (12:00 AM – 8:00 AM), full-time, midnight-flex with alternating weekend coverage

About the role

You will collaborate with nationally accredited colleagues, contribute to lifesaving outcomes, and work in state-of-the-art, 24-hour facilities. As a Lab Technologist in Chemistry, you will conduct a variety of automated and manual tests to gather data for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. You will perform both STAT and routine testing accurately and timely, maintain quality control standards, and troubleshoot instrument issues. The lab utilizes the Meditech lab information system for data entry and testing performance.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology.
  • Current Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York State Education Department.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a clinical laboratory setting (new graduates are welcome to apply).
  • Excellent judgment, communication, computer, troubleshooting, organization, and prioritization skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Board certification (ASCP or NCA).

Salary Range: $52.61 - $65.45 per hour
