Laboratory Technician-- MEHDC5867079

12-hour day shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) on a rotating schedule of 4 days on, followed by 4 days off.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Record, document, and maintain accurate laboratory data in electronic databases.
• Monitor laboratory instruments and perform routine calibration checks.
• Complete preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
• Support food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Interpret laboratory results and communicate findings to internal stakeholders.
• Maintain laboratory documentation and customer specification records.
• Assist with laboratory trials and testing activities as needed.
• Follow laboratory safety procedures, operating instructions, and standard work practices.
• Prepare routine reports and maintain accurate laboratory records.

Requirements

• Experience performing laboratory testing and analytical procedures.
• Knowledge of product testing and laboratory documentation.
• Experience with calibration and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Ability to accurately record laboratory data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety procedures, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and laboratory procedures.
• Ability to work independently while following established processes.
• Comfortable working in a food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, climb, crawl, and work in environments with occasional heat and dust exposure.
