Responsibilities

• Synthesize oligonucleotides using various synthesizer platforms
• Cleave and deprotect oligonucleotides using appropriate methods
• Quantify and prepare oligonucleotide samples for quality control testing
• Attach modifications using various techniques
• Follow all safety regulations, laboratory SOPs, and contamination-control procedures
• Operate laboratory equipment and perform limited maintenance and troubleshooting
• Use custom software applications to complete tasks and produce final products
• Accurately assess QC data and make pass/fail decisions for oligonucleotides
• Handle high-value oligonucleotides and reagents carefully
• Maintain thorough records of specialized processes in the oligo process history
• Follow documented custom instructions when applicable
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with company Core Values
• Prepare oligonucleotides for final shipment to customers or for further processing by other departments
• Use established aids and SOPs to determine the appropriate production path
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED OR Bachelor's degree

• Proficiency with computers and the ability to accurately follow SOPs and work instructions
