Laboratory Technician

Main Tasks

• Perform measurements and laboratory tests for purchased parts, semi-finished parts, and finished parts according to control plans and PPAP parts.
• Support Research and Development (R&D) activities.
• Conduct product audits.
• Investigate and resolve problems as needed.
• Manage the calibration system of production and quality measuring and testing devices.
• Support the proper use of Statistical Process Control (SPC) in production according to the control plan.
• Assist with Measurement System Analysis (MSA) if required.
• In case of non-conforming products, report immediately to the requestor for further disposition.
• Advise on proper measurement methods, equipment, and identification of characteristics on drawings to support measurements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years professional experience.
• Ability to interpret drawings and ensure adherence to agreed quality parameters.
• Expertise in performing tests within the laboratory scope.
• Expertise in calibrating test equipment.
• Knowledge in statistical methods.
