About the role

Global consumer goods company seeking an entry-level Laboratory Technician to support the formulation, testing, and development of innovative shampoo and hair care products. Prior experience within hair care products is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the formulation, testing, and development of innovative shampoo and hair care products.
• Prepare prototype shampoo formulas following specific laboratory batch records.
• Measure pH, viscosity, density, and solid content of experimental batches.
• Track raw materials, chemicals, and laboratory supplies to ensure zero downtime.
• Operate and maintain mixers, viscometers, pH meters, and laboratory scales.
• Record precise experimental data, stability observations, and test results in lab notebooks.
• Monitor product samples under various temperature and light conditions over time.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized laboratory environment according to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Degree in a related discipline (Chemistry, Biology, etc.) and/or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of complex laboratory techniques, equipment, terminology, materials, and substances.
• Skilled in the use of laboratory equipment, ability to create and analyze statistical calculations, and prepare reports.
