About the role
The Laboratory Technician at Evolution Research Group (ERG) supports clinical trials by managing documents, conducting assessments, and assisting with various tasks under the supervision of the Site Director or designee.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate, confidential files and documentation of study participants.
- Interact with subjects, staff, and representatives of sponsors or CROs with good customer service.
- Perform clinical skills such as phlebotomy, vital sign measurements, and ECGs.
- Collect demographic, medical, and medication histories.
- Complete safety assessments and collaborate with team members including the Director of Clinical Operations, Clinical Research Coordinators, Sub-Investigator, and Principal Investigator.
- Enter and respond to data on multiple Electronic Data Capture platforms.
- Meet defined goals set by site leadership.
- Study and comply with ERG's standard operating procedures and relevant regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a medical setting or training/certification as a Medical Assistant/CNA.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements, GCP, and ICH guidelines.
- Ability to adapt behavior to achieve desired outcomes despite changing conditions.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal).
- Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, and proprietary applications used in clinical research.
