Laboratory Support Specialist
Arl Bio Pharma provides analytical and microbiological testing services to the pharmaceutical industry. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced laboratory setting.
About the Role
This role serves as a support task provider under the supervision of the laboratory supervisor. It's a great entry point into the pharmaceutical industry, and Arl Bio Pharma will provide comprehensive training.
Responsibilities
- Media preparation
- Glassware cleaning
- Inventory and ordering
- Lab cleaning and sanitization
- Autoclaving various reagents and supplies
- Assist laboratory personnel in daily activities
- Maintain high scientific quality and compliance with SOPs, protocols, and safety standards
- Wear, maintain, and use appropriate safety equipment
Requirements
- High School diploma with 2+ years working experience OR Associate degree in Microbiology or related science field OR Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related science field
- A minimum of an associate degree in Microbiology or related science field is preferred
- Communication proficiency
- Problem-solving and analysis skills
