Laboratory Supervisor - Hematology

Role: Laboratory Supervisor Responsibilities: Supervise daily lab operations, ensure accurate testing and timely reporting, train and mentor staff, manage workflow and staffing, resolve production errors, improve processes, maintain equipment and quality records, evaluate new procedures, conduct staff coaching, perform bench work, ensure compliance with regulations, manage policies, and handle administrative tasks like payroll and personnel files. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related science, 5+ years clinical testing experience, FL Hematology license. Preferred Skills: Supervisory experience, ASCP or AMT certification, knowledge of lab regulations, proficiency with lab systems, strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work independently and adapt to change. Additional Info: Ability to pass color blindness test, flexibility for shifts/overtime, attention to detail, and familiarity with high-volume lab environments.
