Laboratory Supervisor - Blood Bank

Role: Laboratory Supervisor in the Blood Bank department, responsible for overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, ensuring quality testing, and maintaining regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Supervise Blood Bank operations to ensure timely and accurate test results.Directly oversee, train, and mentor laboratory personnel with ongoing coaching.Monitor workflow, schedule assays, and manage staffing needs.Research and resolve production errors, improve processes, and maintain Quality Assurance records.Perform bench work as necessary and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Qualifications & Skills Associate's degree in Chemical, Biological sciences, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.Over 5 years of clinical laboratory testing experience.Strong knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and relevant state regulations.Proficiency with laboratory information systems and computers.Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.Experience working in high-volume laboratory environments. Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000 annually.
