Laboratory Operator - Gage Setter
Your Key Responsibilities
- Calibrate and maintain masters, indicators and various other gages.
- Maintain gage database and keep organized inventory of metrology room.
- Use standard tools to set dial or digital gages for production process and support repairs as necessary.
- Check and determine deflection factors on various size rings. Set up bore card for production and inspection use.
Your Qualifications
- Excellent basic math skills (Addition / subtraction).
- Excellent organization skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- PREFERRED: Technical high school or equivalent technical experience.
- PREFERRED: Previous use of measurement tools (gage blocks, indicators, vernier calipers, micrometers, etc).
