Laboratory Medical Director Role
Serve as Laboratory Medical Director for hospital pathology and laboratory services
Provide medical oversight for laboratory operations and regulatory compliance
Support laboratory quality assurance, accreditation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Participate in hospital leadership meetings and multidisciplinary committees
Collaborate closely with hospital administration, laboratory leadership, and clinical colleagues

About the Role
This full-time leadership opportunity combines diagnostic surgical pathology with medical oversight of laboratory operations, quality initiatives, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with hospital leadership.

Requirements
The ideal candidate is a collaborative physician with strong communication skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care. Candidates with breast pathology experience are encouraged to apply. This is also an excellent opportunity for a general surgical pathologist interested in expanding their breast pathology experience through collaboration with nationally recognized experts.
Qualifications
Board-Certified Pathologist with a minimum of 5 years of experience in surgical pathology, preferably with a focus on breast pathology. Experience with laboratory operations and regulatory compliance is preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.
