Schedule

• Full time
• Day shift (Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm)
• May require travel as assigned

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance and updating of pricing, laboratory test compendium, client files, and client contracts
• Support the development of departmental budgets and capital equipment requests
• Monitor budget performance, formulating action plans to address volume, revenue, expenses, and labor productivity variances
• Provide strategic direction and guidance to maximize growth, meet patient and provider needs, and participate in the development and implementation of long-range goals and objectives
• Implement customer service initiatives aligned with organizational expectations, resolving problems from patients, physicians, and employees respectfully and consistently
• Promote behaviors that enhance the experience of patients, families, visitors, physicians, and vendors, and foster staff engagement
• Communicate the status of service line operations to appropriate authority
• Establish reporting and approval procedures, delegating necessary authority to direct the work of the Laboratory Outreach business
• Oversee Laboratory Outreach Services, including physician practices, independent medical practices, government agencies, corporate clinics, health fairs, home care agencies, and hospitals
• Collaborate with other service lines, business units, or departments to establish processes for successful service line operations
• Promote the AdventHealth mission and vision, live the core values, and ensure excellence in clinical, financial, market, service, and teamwork areas
• Ensure adherence to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance plan, local, state, and federal regulations, and standards of accrediting bodies
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Solid understanding of Laboratory Outreach, operations, trends, client expectations, patient expectations, competitive environment, and business development
• Knowledge and implementation of regulatory standards including DNV, OSHA, CAP, CLIA, and compliance programs
• Ability to conduct all activities with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity
• Ability to think strategically and make appropriate decisions in stressful circumstances
• Understanding of financial management, reporting, analysis as well as operational and capital planning
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of colleagues; to build and maintain effective, productive teams
