The Laboratory Manager oversees and supports the technical and administrative operations of the Clinical Laboratory, to include employee oversight and staffing, regulatory compliance, quality and PI activities, problem resolution, compliance, and other areas as assigned. TriStar Summit is a 230+ bed comprehensive facility serving Davidson, Wilson and surrounding counties. It includes a Level III Trauma Center and offers a full array of acute care services such as cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics/spine, rehabilitation and women’s services. Responsibilities
- Supervises all technical operations of the lab.
- Reviews, evaluates and monitors quality control programs of the laboratory.
- Supervises and schedules all personnel directly or indirectly through delegation.
- Enforces hospital and lab policies.
- Represents Laboratory on various hospital committees.
