Laboratory Manager

About the role

The Laboratory Manager oversees all laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining high-quality experimental results.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory activities including sample preparation, data analysis, and quality control procedures.
• Ensure all laboratory equipment is functioning properly and maintained according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient resource allocation.
• Train and mentor junior laboratory staff members.
• Prepare and present regular reports on laboratory performance and progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as biology, chemistry, or related sciences.
• Minimum 5 years of laboratory management experience.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., FDA, GLP).
