Role Overview: The Clinical Laboratory Manager oversees daily operations of a diagnostics laboratory, ensuring compliance, service quality, and efficient procedures. Responsibilities Manage daily technical and non-technical laboratory activities and staffing schedulesSupervise, train, and mentor laboratory staff and supervisorsEnsure adherence to regulatory standards including CAP, CLIA, and ISOAddress client inquiries and operational issues collaboratively with medical and technical directorsRecruit, hire, and oversee staff performance and development Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in chemical/biological sciences, clinical laboratory science, or medical technologyOver 3 years of experience as a technologist in clinical diagnosticsOver 3 years of supervisory experience managing multiple team membersASCP or AMT certificationStrong knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and state regulationsProficiency with laboratory information systems and Microsoft OfficeAbility to pass a standardized color blindness test
