Laboratory Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient testing and analysis
• Lead, mentor, and develop laboratory technicians and staff while fostering a culture of safety and quality
• Establish and maintain laboratory procedures, testing protocols, and quality assurance standards
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO standards, OSHA regulations, and other applicable industry requirements
• Review and approve laboratory test results, reports, and documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Cookordinate laboratory activities to support production, quality, research, and customer requirements
• Manage laboratory equipment, calibration schedules, maintenance, and inventory of supplies and chemicals
• Investigate quality concerns, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Monitor laboratory KPIs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and testing accuracy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field
• 5+ years of laboratory experience, including leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of laboratory quality systems, testing methodologies, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Experience managing laboratory personnel, equipment, and daily operations
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
