Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and promote the company vision through regular attendance and punctuality.
• Read, understand, and follow management system requirements, including the Quality Manual, SOPs, Local Work Instructions, and Methods to ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, AOAC ALACC, and relevant government regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations related to assigned analytical work; maintain and assist others in maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Develop full knowledge of the media department, including:
  • Media preparation
  • Setting up quality controls
  • Instrumentation use (Autoclave, Masterclave, etc.)
  • Sanitation and dishwashing
  • Media inventory management
• Identify process difficulties and report these, along with proposed solutions, to the supervisor.
• Maintain readiness and willingness to respond to the queries and needs of clients, staff, and co-workers.
• Foster cooperative working relationships with all company employees.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with co-workers across departments.
• Promote the company image through ethical business practices.
• Strive to improve the quality of work provided to clients through existing and new technologies.
• Identify non-conformances and out-of-specifications.
• Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Responsive, independent problem solver with an action-oriented mindset.
• Basic understanding of ISO 17025 guidelines.
• High School diploma with 0-3 years of experience.
