About the Role
The Labor Pool Employee is a versatile role within the manufacturing facility, responsible for providing flexible support across various departments and functions as needed. This position entails performing diverse tasks to maintain smooth operations and meet production goals. The role demands adaptability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to swiftly learn and execute different tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform various tasks on the production floor such as assembly, machine operation, packaging, and quality control.
- Operate machinery and equipment following safety protocols and manufacturing guidelines.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to meet production goals.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and efficiency.
- Adhere to quality standards and conduct basic quality checks on products.
- Work across different shifts or departments as needed within the manufacturing labor pool.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Forklift experience is preferred.
Skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced production setting.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy objects up to 35 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth vision, and ability to adjust focus as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks and responsibilities within the manufacturing labor pool.
- Ability to adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Flexibility in work schedule and willingness to work overtime or different shifts as needed.
- Compliance with company policies and procedures regarding attendance, conduct, and workplace standards.
Work Conditions
The work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, and wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Schedule
1st shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
2nd shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
3rd shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Candidates must be able to work any shift.
