A well-established management-side labor and employment law firm is looking to add an experienced attorney to its growing virtual team. This opportunity is well-suited for a senior employment lawyer who enjoys handling sophisticated litigation matters and wants the flexibility of a predominantly remote practice without the pressure of generating business. Position OverviewIn this role, you will represent employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters across the country. You will take the lead on matters from initial assessment through resolution, working independently while partnering with a highly experienced team of employment law attorneys. The position is primarily remote, with occasional travel as needed for client matters, court appearances, or other case-related obligations. Key ResponsibilitiesManage employment-related disputes from inception through resolution, including Administrative agency proceedings, Demand and settlement negotiations, and Single-plaintiff employment litigationDevelop and execute litigation strategies tailored to client objectivesDraft and oversee pleadings, motions, discovery, and other substantive legal filingsConduct and defend depositionsRepresent clients in mediations, hearings, conferences, and trial proceedingsMentor junior attorneys and legal support staff when appropriateWork collaboratively with attorneys across multiple offices and practice groupsProvide support on complex employment matters, including class actions and PAGA litigation, as needed QualificationsJuris Doctor from an accredited law schoolMinimum of 6 years of labor and employment litigation experienceActive bar membership in good standingProven ability to manage cases independently in a remote work environmentStrong legal research, writing, advocacy, and case management skillsPrior experience practicing in a law firm setting (preferred) BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insuranceGenerous PTO and paid holidaysPaid parental leave401(k) with profit-sharing contributionsLife insurance and long-term disability coverageEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Additional voluntary benefits, including accident coverage, hospital indemnity plans, student loan refinancing options, dependent life insurance, and pet insurance This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced employment attorney seeking meaningful, high-level legal work in a flexible and supportive environment.
