Position Overview

This role is well-suited for a senior employment lawyer who enjoys handling sophisticated litigation matters and prefers a predominantly remote practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage employment-related disputes from inception through resolution, including Administrative agency proceedings, Demand and settlement negotiations, and Single-plaintiff employment litigation
  • Develop and execute litigation strategies tailored to client objectives
  • Draft and oversee pleadings, motions, discovery, and other substantive legal filings
  • Conduct and defend depositions
  • Represent clients in mediations, hearings, conferences, and trial proceedings
  • Mentor junior attorneys and legal support staff when appropriate
  • Work collaboratively with attorneys across multiple offices and practice groups
  • Provide support on complex employment matters, including class actions and PAGA litigation, as needed

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • Minimum of 7 years of labor and employment litigation experience
  • Active bar membership in good standing
  • Proven ability to manage cases independently in a remote work environment
  • Strong legal research, writing, advocacy, and case management skills
  • Prior experience practicing in a law firm setting (preferred)
