My client, a globally recognized leader in labor & employment law representing management exclusively, is seeking an experienced EEOC Special Counsel to join their innovative, technology-driven charges practice. This is a unique opportunity to do sophisticated, high-impact employment work without the demands of a traditional shareholder-track role.

About the Role

  • Fully remote—based anywhere in the United States, as long as you reside in the state where you are barred (California-based candidates strongly preferred)
  • Reduced billable requirement of just 1,500 hours—real flexibility, real balance
  • No required business travel and no business development obligations
  • Access to cutting-edge AI-driven tools and proprietary technology that streamline workflow and elevate client service
  • Backed by the resources of a global platform with 1,900+ attorneys across 100+ offices worldwide
  • Sophisticated, substantive work defending administrative agency charges from investigation through resolution

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of administrative agency charges and attorney demand letters on behalf of leading employers nationwide, including:
  • Drafting persuasive position statements
  • Responding to agency requests for information
  • Representing clients in settlement negotiations and remote mediations
  • Communicating directly and frequently with sophisticated clients and administrative agencies

This is challenging, intellectually engaging work designed for attorneys who want to focus on practicing law, not chasing origination credits.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of employment defense law experience on the management side
  • Demonstrated experience with administrative agency charges at the federal and state levels (EEOC and state agency exposure strongly preferred)
  • Proven ability to draft persuasive position statements and represent clients at hearings and/or mediations
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines with precision
  • An active bar license in your state of residence
  • Comfort with—and curiosity about—AI and emerging legal technologies, with the aptitude to leverage them to enhance efficiency and client outcomes

Benefits

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
  • Superior 401(k) plan
  • Ample PTO
  • Mental health and wellness programs
  • Family-building and caregiving support
  • Generous paid parental leave
  • Life and disability insurance
  • Flexible spending accounts
  • Employee referral bonus program

Pay

Salary range: $140,000 - $165,000, plus performance-based bonuses.
