About the role
The ideal candidate should excel in the following areas: strong litigation skills, researching, writing and arguing motions, conducting complex fact investigations and analysis, taking and defending depositions, and providing clients with sound advice and counsel.
Responsibilities
- Researching, drafting, and arguing motions in federal and state court
- Conducting complex fact investigations and analysis
- Taking and defending depositions
- Providing clients with sound advice and counsel on employment law issues
- Participating in all phases of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations
- Collaborating with other members of the Labor & Employment team to provide comprehensive legal services
Requirements
- At least 4-6 years of employment litigation experience
- Admitted to and a member in good standing of the California Bar
- High grades and law school transcript required
- Minimum of three (3) days in the office per week
- Not considering candidates for fully remote roles at this time
Qualifications
- Strong academic record
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with employment law, including but not limited to wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and employment agreements

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $310,000 to $390,000.
