Labor & Employment Mid-Level Associate (San Francisco)

About the role

The ideal candidate should excel in the following areas: strong litigation skills, researching, writing and arguing motions, conducting complex fact investigations and analysis, taking and defending depositions, and providing clients with sound advice and counsel.

Responsibilities

• Researching, drafting, and arguing motions in federal and state court
• Conducting complex fact investigations and analysis
• Taking and defending depositions
• Providing clients with sound advice and counsel on employment law issues
• Participating in all phases of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations
• Collaborating with other members of the Labor & Employment team to provide comprehensive legal services

Requirements

• At least 4-6 years of employment litigation experience
• Admitted to and a member in good standing of the California Bar
• High grades and law school transcript required
• Minimum of three (3) days in the office per week
• Not considering candidates for fully remote roles at this time

Qualifications

• Strong academic record
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with employment law, including but not limited to wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and employment agreements

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $310,000 to $390,000.

Schedule

Candidates must be available to work in the San Francisco office.
