Labor & Employment Counsel (Remote)

Responsibilities

• Managing administrative agency charges from intake through resolution.
• Drafting persuasive position statements and responses to agency requests.
• Conducting factual investigations and developing defense strategies.
• Advising employer clients regarding risk, compliance, and resolution options.
• Representing clients in settlement discussions, mediation proceedings, and other agency-related matters.
• Communicating regularly with clients and government agencies throughout the life of each matter.

Qualifications

• At least six years of labor and employment law experience.
• Experience handling administrative agency charges at the federal and/or state level.
• Demonstrated success drafting position statements and responding to agency investigations.
• Experience representing employers in mediations, hearings, settlement negotiations, or similar proceedings.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Active bar admission in their state of residence.
