About the role
We are seeking an Employment Attorney to join a growing team serving cities, counties, and public authorities across the state.
Responsibilities
- Advise and represent local government entities on employment law matters including discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour, and related litigation
- Handle matters from initial counsel through administrative proceedings and litigation as needed
- Support government clients on policy development, employment practices, and compliance with state and federal employment law
- Work alongside experienced government law attorneys on complex matters governed by local, state, and federal law
- Serve a recession-resistant client base with consistent workflow across economic cycles
Qualifications
- 2 to 7 years of employment law experience
- Active and good standing Georgia bar license required
- Strong academic background and written communication skills
- Stable work history preferred
- Local government law experience a plus but not required

Pay
$135,000 - $185,000 per year, based on experience and litigation background
