About the role

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, currently has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for a 4th - 6th year associate in the Labor & Employment group of our Dallas, TX office. GT is consistently among the top firms on the Am Law Global 100; this is an exciting opportunity to train and work with a dynamic and nationally recognized practice group.

Responsibilities

• Handle employment class actions, including trade secret and restrictive covenant cases.
• Have trial experience and be willing to take depositions, cover hearings, interview witnesses, handle written discovery, and write persuasive briefs.
• Assume significant responsibility.

Requirements

• Be Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, or be prepared to take the exam when eligible.
• Have strong academic credentials and references.
• Be a member of the Texas State Bar or willing to quickly become one.
• Have demonstrable substantive knowledge of basic employment concepts under Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, and similar federal and state employment laws.
