Job Summary
Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, seeks a full-time 2nd – 4th year Associate in the Labor & Employment Practice of our Sacramento office. The position offers competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package.
About the Role
The Labor & Employment Associate will work with clients, large and small, from a variety of industries across the country. They will handle employment class and individual litigation, unfair competition, and representation of employers regarding various labor and employment issues.
Responsibilities
- Handle employment class and individual litigation
- Represent employers with respect to employment discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, leaves of absence, employee accommodations, personnel policies, wage and hour compliance, and employment agreements
- Provide strategic legal advice on all matters concerning the employment relationship
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal, writing, and analytical skills
- Keen attention to detail
- The desire and initiative to "take ownership" over work and career
- Litigation experience is important
- A wage and hour substantive background is a plus
- Strong academic credentials
- Member of the California State Bar

Pay
The expected pay range for this position is $230,000 - $285,000 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Schedule
Full-time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
Commute/Transit
Commute and transit programs may also be available in certain markets.
