Labor & Employment Associate

About the role
Quarles is seeking associates with 3+ years of experience to join its dynamic Labor & Employment management-side team. Applicants should be employment litigators with excellent academic credentials, knowledge of State and Federal fair employment laws, wage-hour laws, ADA/FMLA, and related laws. Experience in case preparation related to employment matters before state and federal agencies, arbitrations, and courts is required.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for matters with minimal detailed guidance
- Attend hearings
- Draft and respond to discovery
- Draft motions in federal and state court
- Prepare cases for trial or arbitration
Advice and counseling experience is a plus.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in employment litigation
- Excellent academic credentials
- Knowledge of State and Federal fair employment laws, wage-hour laws, ADA/FMLA, and related laws
- Experience in case preparation for state and federal agencies, arbitrations, and courts

Pay
The compensation range for associates is $175,000 to $280,000 per year. Compensation is determined based on the market, position responsibilities, applicant experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors, including book of business for more experienced roles.
