About the role

Cozen O'Connor is seeking an attorney with three to five years of experience to join the Labor & Employment Department in the New York office.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in federal and state courts, arbitration proceedings, and before government agencies.
• Advise employers on a wide range of employment‑law matters, including:
  • Discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims
  • Wage‑and‑hour compliance and disputes, including class and collective actions
  • Compliance with the FMLA, ADA, and other federal, state, and local leave laws
  • Breach of contract and whistleblower claims
  • Enforcement and defense of non‑compete and non‑solicitation agreements
• Traditional labor experience is a plus.

Requirements

• Three to five years of relevant experience.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Active New York law license in good standing.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $230,000 – $265,000, representing the firm’s good‑faith estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as the candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications.
