Labor and Employment Attorney

Job Details

• Representing clients in all stages of litigation, from initiation to resolution.
• Conducting thorough and timely research and analysis of legal issues related to the case.
• Drafting, reviewing, and revising legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, responses, and settlement agreements.
• Conducting depositions and preparing witnesses for depositions.
• Representing clients in mediations and settlement negotiations.
• Advocating for clients in court, arbitration, and administrative proceedings.
• Collaborating with legal team members to develop case strategies.
• Continuously updating knowledge on laws and legal developments affecting the company's industry.
• Providing legal advice to clients on labor and employment issues.
• Maintaining a high level of professionalism and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A current license to practice law.
• A minimum of 5 years of plaintiff litigation experience.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in labor and employment law.
• Prominent experience in conducting depositions and mediations.
• Exceptional research, analytical, and legal drafting skills.
• Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple cases with varying deadlines.
• Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision, while maintaining productivity and meeting deadlines.
