Labor and Employment Attorney

About the role

Barnes & Thornburg LLP is seeking an attorney with expertise in either traditional labor or employment litigation to join our Ann Arbor office and well-respected national practice.

Qualifications (Employment)

• Substantial single plaintiff employment litigation and counseling experience
• Experience with employment law advice and counseling
• Experience with wage and hour and employment class action litigation
• Outstanding writing, research, and analytical skills
• Strong academic credentials
• Admitted and in good standing with the Michigan bar

Qualifications (Labor)

• Substantial traditional labor law experience/knowledge on arbitrations, contract administration, and/or NLRB matters
• Experience with union avoidance and union campaigns and unfair labor practice defense
• Outstanding writing, research, and analytical skills
• Strong academic credentials
• Admitted and in good standing with the Michigan bar
