About the role
The Mid-sized education law firm seeks an attorney to join its Labor, Employment and Personnel Practice Group. The ideal candidate will support the education of students in California.
Responsibilities
- Labor, employment and personnel experience
- Prior experience conducting investigations and/or administrative hearings
- Experience with the Educational Employment Relations Act or similar labor relations statute preferred
- Excellent analytical, writing, research, and communication skills
- Flexibility, initiative, and willingness to work on a broad variety of legal matters arising in representing public entities
- Experience with labor negotiations
- Public entity representation is preferred but not required; and prior school district representation is a plus
Requirements
- Admission to the California State Bar
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience, including the above qualifications

Pay
The annual salary wage range the Firm reasonably expects to pay candidates for this position is $130,000 to $165,000. The final annual salary offered will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

The Firm offers a hybrid schedule.
