Duties
- Affords assistance to the assigned supervisor in various aspects of projects.
- Utilizes standard discipline techniques to make minor adaptations and modifications.
- Performs other job-related duties as directed.
- Capable of walking up to one mile on industrial plant and construction sites outdoors at any time of the year.
- Able to work in protective clothing that can elevate body temperature by several degrees Fahrenheit for up to 15 minutes without a break.
- Able to use multi-level stair towers and rung ladders without assistance.
- Able to hear safety alarms and signals while wearing hearing protection.
- Able to sit at a desk and operate a computer for extended periods of time.
- Able to stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and hear.
- Able to see with visual acuity and distinguish between colors.
- Able to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.
- Able to lift and carry 15 lbs. on a regular basis and at times lift up to 25 lbs.
Education and Experience
A high school diploma or equivalent (GED), combined with additional specialized training or college coursework, and at least six (6) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job.
Licenses Required
A valid driver's license as per state law or requirement.
Skills
Thorough understanding of policies and procedures pertinent to project work.
