Overview
Global pharma company seeking an entry-level Lab Technician to join their growing team. A BS Degree and prior experience with vaccine manufacturing or aseptic techniques is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform activities associated with the preparation of vaccine components in an aseptic clean room environment using virus and cell culture techniques according to USDA regulations.
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures during process execution.
- Assist with training and coaching current and new employees on required skills.
- Complete and review in-process documentation for accuracy and compliance in a timely manner; maintain technical data and support documentation. <
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions to address problems; escalate production flow disturbances.
- Demonstrate a visible and tangible commitment to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) programs and initiatives.
- Assess individual performance with regards to continuous improvement (AAI).
- Support site projects and initiatives, including deviation and change control management.
Requirements
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of clean room and aseptic techniques.
- Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing Principles.
- Basic math skills, equipment/automation troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other database software systems.
- BS Degree in Biology preferred but not required.
