Lab Technician II

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Understanding of laboratory tests to be performed on process chemicals/fluids
• Adhere to the principles of the Quality System
• Perform tests per defined methods
• Record data in accurate and concise manner
• Recognize and react to out of spec data
• Report data to internal customers

WORK ENVIRONMENT / EHS RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work in a laboratory and administrative office setting, with some travel as required.
• Ensure a safety mindset throughout designated area of responsibility.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

• Key Education or Certification Required: High School Diploma, GED, or similar required. Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or physical sciences preferred.
• Required Minimum Number of Years of Relevant Experience: 1 year previous lab experience required. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Required Skills and Competencies: Good command of the English language, knowledge of Word Processing software, Spreadsheet software, Internet software, Database software, good communication and prioritization skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work on different projects at the same time, follow instructions, think analytically, be a team player who is result/customer oriented.
