Lab Technician

Join our team as a Lab Technician supporting laboratory testing operations in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, organization, and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Review testing plans and laboratory schedules to prepare samples for processing.
• Prepare samples, testing materials, and growth or testing media according to established procedures.
• Process and monitor samples throughout various stages of testing.
• Collect, document, and communicate testing data and observations.
• Maintain accurate sample tracking using laboratory documentation systems and LIMS.
• Label, organize, and store samples according to laboratory protocols.
• Operate laboratory equipment and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Evaluate test results and accurately record findings for review.
• Clean laboratory glassware, equipment, and work areas.
• Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies, materials, and chemicals.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Experience with sample handling, labeling, and documentation.
• Knowledge of laboratory practices and procedures.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and basic testing methods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a repetitive work environment.
• Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $36,400.00 per year. Individual compensation within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
