Lab Technician - 2nd Shift

About the role

Prepare micro-sections from circuit boards for final shipment and for in-process evaluation for plating, drilling, and inspection. Perform chemical analysis of plating solutions, cleaners, micro-etches, and other routine lab analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and evaluate cross sections for all required shipments.
• Complete proper evaluation forms, reports, and perform data entry.
• Thermal stress samples as needed.
• Utilize AA equipment and run chemical analysis using CVS equipment.
• Familiarity with True Cham software (a plus).
• Read and understand customer specifications.
• Evaluate relevant cross section testing to IPC 6012.
• Perform repetitive lifting and grinding to prepare cross sections.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent circuit board experience preferred.
• 2-4 years PCB manufacturing experience.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and/or PowerPoint).
• Experience using shop floor software to complete transactions in Oracle and other MRP systems.
• Must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident (ITAR facility requirement).

Pay

Salary range: $43,680.00 - $54,080.00. Actual base pay within this range will be based on years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills.
