Lab Tech III -Microbiology

About the role

The Lab Technologist will process and analyze patient samples, monitor Quality Control (QC), ensure all instruments are maintained properly, and report patient results in their department.

Responsibilities

• Process and analyze patient samples
• Maintain proper functioning of laboratory instruments
• Report patient results accurately
• Monitor Quality Control (QC)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biological or Chemical Science or MLT Certification
• Prior clinical experience is desirable but not required
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated
• Good team player
• Pass a colorblind test
• Work in an environment containing biohazards, toxic chemicals, pungent odors, corrosive acids, noise, sharp objects, and other hazards
