Lab Services Coordinator - Oconomowoc Memorial - 1.0 FTE, Days

About the role

Accountable for overseeing and monitoring the daily operations of the Client Support Services and/or Phlebotomy Departments of ProHealth Care Laboratories. This includes client services, specimen processing, nursing home phlebotomy, inpatient/outpatient phlebotomy, send-outs, microbiology set-ups, and courier services. This role coordinates, assesses and adjusts workflow, develops and maintains schedule, serves as a resource to staff, and assists in addressing customer concerns.

Responsibilities

• Helps at various ProHealth Care Lab locations as needed.
• Coordinates workflow and adjusts as necessary.
• Serves as a resource to staff.
• Assists in addressing customer concerns.
• Develops and maintains schedules.
• Coordinates and assesses shifts to ensure adequate staffing.
• Assists in managing weekend on-call rotations to cover staffing needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of relevant experience preferred.
• ASCP or AMT certified as a Phlebotomist, Medical Laboratory Technician, or Clinical Laboratory Technician or equivalent or eligible.

Qualifications

Must have the ability to help at various ProHealth Care Lab locations as needed.
