Lab/Field Technician - Fort Myers
About the role
Ardaman & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Full-time opportunity for a LAB/FIELD TESTING TECHNICIAN in the Fort Myers, Florida area. This position involves performing basic laboratory testing and field work including soil and concrete sampling, nuclear density gauge testing, and other construction activities.
Responsibilities
- Performs basic laboratory testing including organic content, grain size analysis, compaction, processing of material, and compression testing of concrete specimens.
- Carries out field work such as soils and concrete sampling, nuclear density gauge testing, field inspection, and miscellaneous construction activities.
- Lifts and carries equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Performs mathematical calculations.
- Works weekends and extended hours as needed.
- Travels and works at remote sites as needed.
Requirements
- FDOT/CTQP/ACI laboratory testing certifications preferred but not required.
- The ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

- The ability to travel and work at remote sites as needed.
- Excellent driving record within company standards.
- Must be able to pass background screening requirements including criminal history, motor vehicle check, drug testing, etc.
