About the role

Responsible for driving the HMC lab courier vehicle to assigned clinic routes, picking up patient specimens, delivering mail, patient reports, and supplies, and performing courier functions and venipunctures on hospital and home‑bound patients.

Responsibilities

• Drive HMC lab courier vehicle to assigned clinic routes
• Pick up patient specimens at clinic sites
• Deliver mail, patient reports, and supplies to specific areas
• Perform a variety of courier functions
• Perform venipunctures on hospital and home‑bound patients

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 6 months of phlebotomy experience required
• Bedside glucose experience preferred
• Valid Driver's License with no moving violations within the past year
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions
• Simple use of formulas, charts, tables, specifications, and schedules
• Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with patients
• Courier experience preferred
• Physical requirements: able to sit & walk frequently; stand occasionally; lift/carry 0‑20 lbs frequently; 21‑50 lbs occasionally; push/pull 0‑10 lbs frequently; climb occasionally; reach constantly; use hands for
