Job Summary/Basic Function
The primary responsibilities of the Digital Media Specialist (DMS) are as follows: Provide customer service and support to students using the Computer Literacy Center (CLC). Responsible for the basic operations of the Computer Literacy Center. Administering exams entrusted to the CLC. Ensure clean, safe, and efficient operation of center. Assist Supervisor or CLC Director as needed. You will learn to create Online Learning Modules for the Computer Literacy Center. Creating digital projects (Online Learning Modules) as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must have completed NTM 1700 (or equivalent) with a grade of “B” or higher.
- Potential candidates must have good communication and customer service skills through work or volunteer experiences.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual/Spanish speaking.
- Work Study preferred.
