About the role
Assists licensed laboratory personnel by performing certain limited duties as permitted under CABPC 1269. A CPT-Certified Phlebotomy Technician Certification is required for this position.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent education/experience
- At least one (1) year experience and/or training as a laboratory assistant
- CPT-Certified Phlebotomy Technician Certification
Skills and Knowledge
- Knowledge of software applications such as MS Word and Excel
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to effectively present information to other employees of the organization
- Requires the ability to apply independent judgment while carrying out written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Experience working with Laboratory Information System (LIS)
Schedule
- Full Time
- Varied shift hours (8 hours per day)
- Days of the week: Monday - Friday
- Rotating weekends
- Weekly hours: 40

Pay
Pay range is $32.47 to $43.19 per hour. The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
