Lab Assistant I (Full-Time, Nights)

Compensation range: $23.65 - $30.28 per hour, based on applicable experience.

About the Role

Enloe Health is a Level II Trauma Center located in beautiful Northern California, offering a full array of medical services. As a Planetree organization, we prioritize compassionate, person-centered care through collaboration and mutual support. The Lab Assistant I (CPT I) collects blood samples from patients for laboratory testing, performing venipuncture and capillary blood draws in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Current Phlebotomy Certificate (CPT I) issued by the California Department of Public Health
• College science courses (desired)
• Previous laboratory experience (desired)

Skills & Abilities

• Ability to follow instructions and work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills
• Awareness of chemical hygiene protocols and biohazard material handling requirements
• Knowledge of universal precautions and blood-drawing safety devices
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to fulfill the essential functions of the position
