Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse Role: Provide care to women during labor and childbirth, monitor mother and baby, coach mothers, and assist physicians. Prepare patients and families for delivery, and support postpartum activities like breastfeeding. Responsibilities: Ensure patient safety, monitor labor progress, and offer emotional and educational support throughout the childbirth process. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years recent L&D RN experience, active RN license, and certifications including BLS, ACLS, NRP, and likely AWHONN. Skills: Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills to effectively support mothers and coordinate with healthcare teams.
