L&D RN (Registered Nurse) - Contract

Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery Seeking a dedicated Labor & Delivery nurse to provide compassionate care during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications such as magnesium, insulin, and pitocin, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans. The role involves educating and supporting patients and their families throughout the birthing process and floating across campuses as required. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Mother-Baby careExperience with C-section and vaginal deliveries, including triageIntermediate or Advanced EFM / AWHONN certificationActive RN license in Iowa or a multistate compact licenseBLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from recognized organizationsPrevious travel assignment experience within the last year Key Skills Strong assessment and monitoring skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with healthcare teamsExcellent patient education and support capabilities
