- Care for women during labor and childbirth
- Monitor both mother and baby
- Coach mothers and assist physicians
- Prepare patients and families for labor stages
- Support postpartum care, including breastfeeding
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years recent L&D RN experience
- Active RN license
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and likely AWHONN
