About the role
Provide care to women during labor and childbirth, monitor mother and baby, coach mothers, and assist physicians. Prepare families for delivery and support postpartum breastfeeding.
Responsibilities
- Ensure patient safety
- Monitor fetal and maternal health
- Assist during labor
- Offer postnatal support
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an L&D RN
- Active RN license
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN
Skills
- Strong patient monitoring
- Coaching and collaboration skills
- Ability to assist in high-pressure situations
